Got a brand-new cool vintage archtop made by Helmut Neubauer. This one - also has no name - is a
Thinline archtop guitar.
The Body depth is 55mm. The Sides colored with black-red-black stripes. Top and Back is Natural coloring (guess it's original).
The Tuning machines and metal tailpiece are original but the bridge was missing, so I installed a old one of East-Germany made.
Looking totally, you could find the strange shape of soundholes on the topboard. Sickle shaped, but not similar with the one that
Hofner or Framus archtop has. Someone had painted inside the body from the soundhole with black, so you could not see the
inside of the body from the picture but the wood materials are all solid. Top is Spruce, Sides and back are Maple.
Rosewood fingerboard with the white perloid inlays with exception of the red inlay on 12F.
The guitar has totally BIG sounds, really amazing, even though the thin body. Of course, the low-end sound is not so rich
but loud enough. The black painted neck reminds me an old (19th century) classical guitars coloring. Body Width (at the
Lower bout) is 440mm, Neck Scale is 650mm. The Neubauer logo on the perloid headstock.
