This one is not the Vintage guitar, but you'll find the vintage-charms lives nowadays with the german luthier.
Frank Krocker, lives in Burghausen, Germany, who made the top quarity guitar their and now he has his own brand named
"Frame Works"(click for their official HP)
that they release the flamy-skelton-bodied (imagine YAMAHA silent guitar) travel guitar (Some are setting the devided-guitar-synth-system (of Roland).
Probably now they don't make any archtops like this one.
This guitar made with the custom order by a German professional Jazz guitarlist in 1987. His offer is
"Looks just like the vintage Roger (Wenzel Rossmeissl), Specs just like most contenporary".
So, this guitar is the Renaiassance of the acient German Carve on the top (Solid Spruce) and the back (solid maple). The Neck made solid mahogany (with trussrod).
Fingerboard is ebony with the simple (but gorgeous) avalon dot inlays.Nut width is 46mm. Great action!
In the neck-end, Shadow / Attila Zoller floarting hambacker was installed, and in the ebony bridge, Piezo pickup-system was also installed.
Through the 2 volume pots (each pots made the volume of each pickups), the 2 PU mixed sound are out.
Pickguard are made with rosewood. Tailpiece is ebony wood. Binding on the edge of the body were used maple-wood. Finished with gross-violin finish.
The top board is thiner than the Roger one. and there're 2 pole settled between the top and back (just like violin, contrabass and so on).
The electrical sound is one of the best sound I've ever heard. Lylical and gentle. And the acoustically, it sounds great! Beautiful and well-balanced. I love this one (best sound and best looks for me) .
