-related guitars- HUTTL / multi-striped body Huttl made some archtop models with characteristic gorgeous(?) multi-striped coloring in its 60s era. The left one is no-name model by Huttl. it has multi-striped side pattern (it made with natural and brown laquering). Also the back of the body has multi-striped design but the back striping was made by the different materials (Maple and Mahogany). The right one is also the OPUS by Huttl, but having the layered headstock, striped top board, and Mahogany back board with 3 stripes. This Opus is now on sale at the Palm guitars in Amsterdom with the Schaller 1PU metal-plate engraved the Framus logo. |
-related guitars- HUTTL / doubleneck guitar (customized) Recentry I found this crazy shaped doubleneck guitar was listed on eBay. Soon i could find this was made under the brand name of Huttl of Germany (the words of W.Huttle was engraved onto the gold plate placed between the 2 necks), and you also could find a lot of charactors that similer with the above Huttl archtops. This has a Bass (4 string) neck but seems to be a same scale with normal guitar.... should be called Tenor guitar neck? and multi-triangled soundholes are on the upper side of the topboard. Not sure if the 4 pickups were original stocks or not, but sure those pickups are changed or re-mounted onto the topboard by someone before. Also I'm not sure if this instruments are useful for playing or not , but really interesting, wired guitar. |
